Lastenkotiin sijoitettavalle teokselle annettiin erityisiä kriteereitä sisällön ja muodon suhteen. Keskusteluissa talon asukkaiden ja henkilökunnan kanssa päädyimme eläinaiheeseen. Teoksen nimi nousi erään nuoren ideasta tehdä hautakivi, jossa lukee freedom. Teos käsittelee vapaus -teemaa, joka on lastenkodin asukkaille pinnalla oleva asia. Teoksessa parvi erilaisia siivekkäitä olioita lentää ulos seinässä olevasta aukosta.

The work is located in a foster home which limited the content and the form. Having discussed with the children and the staff we came up with a relatively neutral animal theme. One teenager wanted a tombstone with the word freedom carved on it, eventually that became the title. The work deals with the freedom issue that seems to be on the surface for many of the children. From the opening in the wall various winged creatures fly out of it. The material is stainless steel.
